Shopify store spy vs Koala Inspector
Updated 10/26/2026
Koala Inspector is a Chrome extension that reads Shopify stores: best-selling products, theme, apps and estimated revenue. SpyWinAds' Shopify store spy is a free web tool that reads a store's Facebook ads: how many ads are running, whether the store is scaling or testing, which videos are being pushed and how old those videos are.

Where Koala Inspector is better
- Detects which theme and apps a store uses.
- Estimates sales, revenue and traffic (Koala clearly labels them as estimates).
- One click while you're viewing the store, no need to paste a domain.
- Finds suppliers, alerts you when a store adds new products, exports CSV.
Where Shopify store spy is different
- Every video comes with the date it was first published on Meta, the video's real age.
- Groups every Page and store running the same video, including versions with changed text or music.
- Reads a store's Facebook ads: active ads, new ads, Pages, and whether the store is scaling or testing.
- Reads Chinese-platform stores too, not just Shopify. Nothing to install.
Which one to choose
- Choose Koala Inspector if you need to know which theme and apps a store uses and its estimated revenue.
- Choose Shopify store spy if you want to know which products and videos a store is putting its Facebook ad money into.
