How to find winning products in the Facebook Ad Library
Updated 10/27/2026
Short answer: search active ads by product keyword, then keep the videos that show three signs: the ad has been running for over 14 days, the store is still turning on new ads for that video, and many different stores are running it.
Steps
- Search in the right place. Go to the Meta Ad Library, choose the country you sell to (for example, the United States), All ads, and Active status.
- Search by problem, not by product name. Sellers write ads around the customer's pain: "back pain", "dog hair", "garage storage". Keywords like these bring up more product ads.
- Filter for video. Winning dropshipping products mostly run on short videos. Set the media type to Videos.
- Read the start date. Keep ads that have been running for over 14 days and are still active.
- Check whether the store is scaling spend. Click the Page and see if there are many new ads for the same video in the last few days. Turning on more ads usually means the budget is going up.
- Count the stores running it. Search with a few more keywords to see whether the video shows up on other Pages.
- Open the landing page. Check the price, bundles and reviews. This part is your call: is the product a good fit for you?
Common traps
- Big brands' ads that run all year add noise to the results. Skip Pages with hundreds of products.
- An ad with lots of likes isn't necessarily selling. The Ad Library doesn't show spend either.
- A product already run by dozens of stores may be saturated. Also look at the dates when new stores started running it.
What SpyWinAds does for you
SpyWinAds scans the Ad Library for the keywords you choose, groups ads by video, then shows how many stores are running each video, how many ads are still running, and when it started. Steps 4 to 6 above become a ready-ranked table. Step 7 is still up to you.
