How to see which Facebook ads a Shopify store is running
Updated 10/27/2026
Short answer: The Meta Ad Library searches by Page name or keyword, not by store. To see what ads a store is running, type the store's domain into the search box, note every Page that links to that store, then look at each Page's ads.
Steps to do it by hand
- Go to the Meta Ad Library, choose a country and set the ad category to All ads.
- Type the store's domain (for example, store.com) into the search box. The results are ads that contain that domain in their text or link.
- Note the names of the Pages that show up. A store running a lot of ads often uses dozens of Pages.
- Open each Page in the Ad Library to see all of its ads, because a domain search can miss ads that don't mention the domain in their text.
- For each ad, read the start date and the landing page to see which products are being pushed.
What to take away
- Main products: the products with the most ads still running, especially ads that have been running for more than 14 days.
- Pace of new ads: is the store launching more or fewer ads this week than last week? That's how you tell whether a store is scaling or stalling.
- Old videos or new videos: does the store make its own videos, or take videos that already ran elsewhere and run them again?
