- Ads running: ads seen in the Meta Ad Library in the last 3 days. From the SpyWinAds library, US ads only; a minimum count, not sales.
- Shops running the same video: shops running now / shops that ever ran the same video, matched by video fingerprint (re-uploads, re-encodes and music changes included; trimmed edits not included).
- Uploaded to Meta: the day the video file was first uploaded to Facebook, earliest across the Pages in our library, accurate to 1–2 days. The age ring is full when a video is new and empties over 30 days.

How old the video is.
The day the video file first reached Meta and the day the first shop started running it. A new video that many shops run is a sign the product is taking off.
Who ran it first.
Stores listed by the day they started running it. The earliest store is the first one our library saw, not the owner of the video; the library does not verify who owns a video.
How many shops still run it.
Shops and Pages running the same video, matched by video fingerprint, including re-uploads and music changes.

How it differs from the Ad Library.

|---|---|---|
| Same video across shops | Groups ads with identical visuals and text, doesn't count shops | Counts every Page and shop, including versions with changed text or music |
| Date the video file was uploaded to Facebook | Not available | Yes, within 1–2 days |
| Which shop ran it first | Compare each Page yourself | Sorted by start date |
| Daily history | Not available | Yes, with your email |

Frequently asked questions.
Where do I get the ad link?
Open the ad in the Meta Ad Library, click "See ad details" and copy the link with ?id= in the address. Or copy the ad ID (the number) and paste it in.
Can I paste a reel or Facebook video link?
The web version only reads ad links from the Ad Library. Reel and Facebook video links need the page opened to read them, which the SpyWinAds app does.
What if the ad isn't in the library?
Enter your email and click confirm in the message. We scan that ad for free and email you the report, usually within 15 minutes.
Why is the date the file was uploaded to Meta different from the date the ad started running?
The start date is the day an ad was switched on. The Meta upload date is the day the video file was first uploaded to Facebook, the earliest across the Pages in our library. A big gap between the two means an old video is being brought back and run again.
How is this different from searching the Meta Ad Library?
The Ad Library groups ads with identical visuals and text, but doesn't tell you how many shops are running the same video. SpyWinAds matches videos by fingerprint, so it can count every shop and Page running the same video, including versions with changed text or music.
Is it really free?
Yes. 10 database lookups per day, 30 with your email. With email you also see every shop with its store page and price, and a daily ad chart.
